|The following info is from the Regina Beach Committee.|
The Regina Beach Lions have taken on some changes in the format of the 2017 version of the Walleye Classic.
Friday rules night will no longer be at the school. We have moved the program to the Regina Beach Yacht Club (Lower Deck)
Our registration will start at 5:30 pm and continue to no later than 7:00 pm or until everyone has checked in; if earlier. 50/50 tickets will still be sold and final draw will be 7:00 PM to announce winner.
The Walleye Trail events will be at 6:00 Pm and we will have a sound system in place.
We have in the past 3 years heard too many complaints of the Rules Night dragging out – starting late or running to long.
Our club in this will save rental money for school, set up and take down of tables & chairs as well as not have to guess on food and liquor purchases.
Food and beverage will now be provided by the Yacht Club facility.
We anticipate that this will speed things up for everyone. Afterwards we will review this decision and make decision for following years.
Please pass this on to all your SWT Members for their attention.
In addition this is notice that we also now accept Electronic Transfers (Contact Ken Peters firstname.lastname@example.org for details and further information)
The 2017 Walleye Classic at Regina Beach is now just over half full. Spots available are going down quickly as word of the tournament has brought in 14 brand new entries so far.
Many SWT have not yet registered and could be looking from the sidelines.
We are trying to streamline activities and how much work load is put on our elderly members. Your cooperation is appreciated Thank you
Lion Ken Peters
